Knight Surveys is a family-run firm of Chartered Building Surveyors and Valuers based in Horsforth, Leeds, serving clients across West and North Yorkshire. We work with private clients, businesses and charities, and many of our clients come to us on the recommendation of local estate agents and solicitors.
We give impartial advice, thorough reports and a personal service. You can speak to the surveyor who inspected the property about the findings.

Qualified in 1990, David specialises in older and complex properties, including listed and rural buildings, expert witness reports and residential valuation.

Joe Knight MSc MRICS
Chartered Building Surveyor
Joe gained his MSc in Building Surveying at Sheffield Hallam University in 2015 and worked in the commercial sector before joining David, focusing on residential surveying. They founded Knight Surveys together in 2024, and Joe became Chartered in 2026.
